So, I'm sure after dealing with a kidney stone for 3 days you know what I did next. Yes, I went to Disneyland! Actually, K & I had this trip planned a long time ago, but there's no better place to recuperate than D-land! We left Thursday and went to stay with her very first BYU roomie, Rebecca, and her family. Because of Rebecca's work schedule, we tweaked our schedule a bit and headed for fantasy for a while on Thursday evening. We were able to ride a few rides and catch the fireworks and Fantasmic before heading back to Riverside.

Friday brought more work for Rebecca, which meant more fun for me & K. We were able to spend some great time riding rides and just enjoying each other and the parks. That night we went with Rebecca and her mom to "Honolulu Harry's" and had some GREAT food. Especially the Hawaiian nachos. So yummy! Besides enjoying the food, we really enjoyed the company. We felt so "at home" with them and are sure to visit again.

Saturday we had to say our goodbyes as we headed to Downey to stay with my niece and her darling family. K had the wedding reception of another roomie that night in Pacific Palisades, so I was able to spend some great time with the Fox Family. We love to visit them and this time we were able to help some as J was being "potty trained." He was so amazing! No accidents from the time we came to the time we left on Sunday! We even got to help put stickers on his chart and light the candle to sing "Happy Potty to You..." Oh, the fun memories of raising young children. K said the wedding was AMAZING. We're so glad we were able to go, and we thank W, B, and L for being okay with us going to have a little fun while they stayed home.
