I received a text from L yesterday telling me she had made "third chair" for their upcoming orchestra concert! This is BIG! She's right behind the 2 people that switch back-and-forth between first and second. In order to receive this honor, each person in the class does a "playing test" for the teacher, then she decides, based on their playing, where they will be. Great job! Proud of you!!!!
(This picture is from an honors orchestra special performance she was in. Her orchestra has 9 cellos!)
