We had many people ask what they could do to help and our best request at this point was to PRAY. Not only did the prayers start, but many were fasting also. We were made aware that even though the surgery was on Thursday, many of B's friends decided to fast on Friday (because we were unsure of the day that the surgery would be) and called it a "recovery fast". From what I understand, there were at least 100 that fasted for him and there was even a sign posted by the drinking fountain in choir reminding people to give a true fast by going without water. We are told that people from all over the world have kept him in their prayers. All I can say is that your sacrifice was not in vain. He did better through surgery and is doing better with recovery than was expected. The nurses just look at him and say it's the work of all of the prayers being offered. We truly have been lifted by angels in heaven and on earth. THANK YOU to all!!!!
